Hey everybody,
it is time. After a lot of hustle, the first three are already on the way to indonesia. Sebastian and Maraike from Frankfurt and Katie from Düsseldorf started their way to jakarta this day and must be in the plane to Dubai allready, where they will meet tonight at 12:00 PM and procede from there on to Jakarta. Miriam, Johanna and Me will follow tomorrow, when we will enter the Plane in Hamburg at around 9 O'Clock in the morning and will arrive on tuesday in the evening.
After a lot of trouble about the VISA, especially with Mr. Sumbayak even Katie received her VISA in time. We went to Den Haag with no result. And we discovered that you get much easier a VISA in the General Consulate in Hamburg, as in Frankfurt or in the Ambassy in Berlin.
Unfortunately, we only have a VISA for 60 days and the officials on Indonesia are very corrupt, so that there will be coming up another adventure in Indonesia.
All have been vaccinated accordingly and everything seemed to be prepared for a great adventure.
On friday, I picked up the travellar cheques and I hope to have enough money to be able to enjoy the summer in indonesia.
Yesterday I heard that in Indonesia is no alcohol, except beers, but got an adresse of a friendly indonesian celebrity ( author of some books ), who might show us around.
In aproximitally two days I will be in Indonesia
